The face of despair. Man, I'm missing P.J.'s ties.

Yahoo! Boxscore

Here's all you need to know about the game:

At one point, the Thunder were down by 42. They didn't break the 20 point barrier at the end of the 1st quarter. I was questioning whether the Cavaliers would have 70 points at the half. In the second half, the Thunder were, at one point, down by 42.

The commentary, on the other hand, was much more interesting:

In the 2nd, the Thunder were down so bad that Brian Davis started talking about basting the turkey instead of hyping up the Thunders greatness. LAter on, they were talking about the history of Kyle Weaver. By the 3rd, he had almost run out of things to talk about, until Jeff Green and Russell Westbrook had noggins collide. It was nothing serious, but the Cavaliers drove it up the floor an Big Z hit a corner 3.

In the 4th, Brian Davis talked about the "Prairie Chicken Dance" and repeated several times how Darnell Jackson went to Midwest City High School. He then started listing off upcoming games with 0 enthusiasm, until he unleashed this gem as we entered a break. "This has been....a tough one..for the Thunder..after the energy they showed the last two games....for sure." Davis then started talking about Westbrooks "great play" tonight, and Long repeated how emotionally drained we are. With just over a minute to go, the police officer standing guard behind Chris Wilcox is starting to fall asleep. As the final minute winds down, Brian Davis lieterally left about 30 seconds of dead air, and makes a horrible joke about the camera operators saving "women and children first". He was about to fall asleep as he wished everybody a Happy Thanksgiving and signed off.

And that's all you need to know about this game. The commentary speaks for itself. Nothing at all went well....Green, Westbrook, Durant, and Watson all played horribly. But, more on that later, as we go on to the awards:

Well, at least he tried....no dunk picture for you tonight, Weeze.

Our Thunder Wonder is Chris Wilcox. There's nobody, and I mean nobody, else to give it to. He had 5-7 Shooting and went 4-4 from Free Throw land, so every time Chris Wilcox shot, he got us 2 points. You can't ask for much more than that. To round out his night, he had 5 rebounds. Yeah, that's it. Defensively, this has to be the weakest Thunder Wonder of the year.

There's no pictures of Saer, so let's look at LeBron James!

And we now have the award of Thunder Down Under to give. But, there's nobody to give it to. Russell Westbrook's numbers look okay at first glance, but when you realize that he got those numbers in pure, unadulterated 4th quarter garbage time vs the likes of Darrell Jackson (did I mention he's from Midwest City High School?), his game becomes much less impressive. So, the award goes to....Saer Sene!!!! He wins his first Thunder Down Under of the year. I mean, he scored 4 points off of freethrows without ever firing a shot! In only 5 minutes! That's Thunder Basketball right there.

LeBron is laughing at the fact that you thought Durant would have a good game! He didn't even have his picture taken, and people are snapping pics of LeBron in his warmups!

The Thunder Blunder tonight is a hard one to pinpoint. I'll have to go ahead and give it to Kevin Durant, for a few reasons. He had virtually nothing other than 13 points on 6-16 shooting. Also, he had the worst +/- ratio on the team at -35. Now, I know that means nothing, but it means that every time he was on the floor, he clearly wasn't making a positive difference. I mean, Wilkins played more than he did and produced less, but he didn't miss as many shots and he had a -17 +/- ratio, so clearly he did something better, even if that was just no taking bad shots. Well, as many bad shots.

Big Z likes to party!

The Thunder Plunderer tonight really should go to the entire Cleveland Cavalier team. Even when the backups came in, they never backed down and continued to increase their lead all the way up until the 4th Quarter, preventing any sort of "scare" by the Thunder and resting up the starters for the long season ahead. But, since it has to go to one guy, I'll give it to Zydrunas Ilgauskas, who had 13 Points, 7-9 Shooting, 1-1 3 Pointers, 7 Rebounds, and 2 assists. Granted, the 3 he hit was after Westbrook and Green had a noggin collision and the Thunders end was wide open, but any time Big Z hits a 3, you've gotta give him credit.

Next Game: Friday, November 28th, vs the Timberwolves.

Toilet bowl time!

Quick Side Note: At this time, the 72-73 76ers, the worst team in NBA history, were 1-15. Guess what our record is?

Well....

The Cavaliers are the 2nd best team in the East and only a game and a half behind the Celtics. That's about all I can say. Also, the 2nd game of a back to back on the road.
