For some reason, he can never find that perfect pair of pants....

Yahoo! Box Score

Oh, KSBI.... Throughout the entire first quarter, the broadcast had normal sound, but the video was hugely messed up. The game would go in slow motion, then the screen would flash, and the ball would be in a different place. Then it would go in slow motion, flash, and the ball would be in a different place. It's like it was in half time for 5 seconds, then they flashed past the next 5 seconds to catch up. So, in other words, you'd see a shot in slow motion....then the screen would flash, and the other team would be inbounding the ball, and it was very disorienting. It was hard to tell when someone scored, and it was almost impossible to keep ones attention towards the game. Eventually, it started infecting commericals, and I suspect that KSBI lost about $150 of their $1,000 advertising revenue from that day. Eventually, during a KSBI promo inbetween the 1st and 2nd it froze and came back to normal.

Luckily, for KSBIs sake, nobody saw this game. Personally, I had to switch between this game, watching the Warriors get blown out by the Spurs, and watching the Missouri Tigers get stomped by the Oklahoma Sooners. You'd think that this game would be the most interesting since it was close, but it wasn't. It was partially marred by the fact that KSBI and Brian Davis combined is a deadly combination and by the fact that the game had Dwayne Wade in it, and all Dwayne Wade does is go to the line.

That being said, Dwayne Wade was the difference in the game. When the Warriors played the Heat, Wade put it away, and the same thing happened here. Whenever the Thunder would get close, he'd come into the game and make some clutch layups. And, when he wasn't touched, he'd magically swing around in the air, fall onto the floor, and go to the line. He has to be the most weak sauced player in the game. That being said, he wins the Thunder Plunderer award with 38 Points, 14-24 Shooting, 10-15 Free Throws, a +25 +/- Ratio, 5 Rebounds, 7 Assists, 2 Turnovers, 2 Steals, and 2 Blocks.

Before I get to the other awards, I'd like to talk about Brian Davis and Grant Long again. Today, they decided to insult Jamaal Magloire and Shaun Livingston because thay haven't played in a while, and ordered the players to attack them. Look guys, just because someone's sat on the bench for an extended period of time doesn't mean that they suck or are any worse than the Thunder players. Jamaal Magloire is 4 years removed from being an All-Star, and still plays a good game of basketball even with injuries. Shaun Livingston, the other guy they were bashing, just came back from a massive leg injury, and was a darn good Point Guard before that. Why do you have to be up in these guys faces? Sheesh.

Reguardless, on to the other awards. Russell Westbrook put together another fantastic game, and easily had the best one of his career. I've been pretty negative about the team lately, and rightfully so, but Westbrook has been the one bright spot throughout all of this, and, personally, I like him better than Durant. And I think he should play 2 guard. Thus, his career Thunder Wonder Awarded game concludes with 30 Points, 10-18 Shooting, 10-12 Free Throws, 7 Rebounds, 2 Assists, 3 Turnovers, and 2 Steals.

The sad thing is, I bet Wade got the foul on this play.

Grabbing the Thunder Down Under Award is Jeff Green, with 21 Points, 8-16 Shooting, 9 Rebounds, 4 Assists, 1 Turnover, 1 Steal, and 1 Block. Special Shout out to Earl Watson, who had a whopping 12 assists. We need to see more of this out of him, and less of the 1-6 shooting he had tonight.

Aaand....he'll get to the basket untouched.

The Thunder Blunder goes, again, to Damien Wilkins (tonight really was like last night, wasn't it?). What are you doing man? Get out of this rut! You're killing the chance that P.J. Carlesimo never gave you! All he did was score 2 Points, both on Freethrows, with 0-2 Shooting, and 15 minutes of play. Ugh, just ugh. I don't care if we have to put in Watson or Mason, but this guys is doing nothing! Get him outta here!

Last Note: Joe Smith is out with a bruised inner thigh, opening up the door for Petro. Hopefully he gets well soon and we get to enjoy his efficency again.

Next Game: Monday, Dec 8th, vs the GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS!!!!

Toilet Bowl Benedict Arnold Time!!!!

Also: Congrats, Sooners! OkLuschen predicted the game almost exactly, thinking the Sooners would score one point more. His Thunder prediction wasn't that far off, either. Again, props to the picking master.
