Inspired by the holiday spirit, God of Thunder wrote a little holiday song for you, to the tune of Jingle Bells.
Ooo, Thunder Rolls Thunder Rolls KD's in the gym! Weezy's lookin' real fly When he stuffs it in the rim. Thunder Rolls Thunder Rolls KD's in the gym! Weezy's lookin' real fly When he stuffs it in the rim.
Petro's our Frenchman And Sene's from God knows where. Backcourt's kinda thin, I don't really care. Our losses are by Very large amounts Hold it fans please do not cry, It's having fun that counts!

Match-Ups:
Mike Bibby vs. Russell Westbrook
Edge: Westbrook
Might be going out on a rim here, and Bibby has shown flashes of his old self at times. But did you know that Russ is the leading offensive rebounder in the league among guards, and as a rookie, no less.
Joe Johnson vs. Desmond Mason
Edge: Johnson
I don't care if he's being guarded by Desmond Mason or the Secret Service, Joe Johnson almost always gets his 20.
Josh Smith vs. Kevin Durant
Edge: Smith
I think that the athletic Josh Smith will frustrate KD tonight, and he also scores and rebounds, so I like Josh Smith with what may be an upset pick here.
Marvin Williams vs. Jeff Green
Edge: Green
Marvin Williams is getting some of the best point totals in his career, but Jeff Green is still better offensively and improving defensively
Al Horford vs. Chris Wilcox
Edge: Horford
Wilcox has been underachieving of late (what else is new). Al Horford is slowly becoming that double-double guy that Atlanta wants and needs him to be, but still has a little ways to go.
Battle of the Benches
Edge: Thunder
The Collison injury (broken thumb) hurts the big man rotation, but the Hawks bench is very underwhelming.
Coaching and Intangibles:
Edge: Thunder
Call me a homer, but the Atlanta homecourt advantage isn't much and the Thunder have been playing better the last two games.
Player to Watch: Kevin Durant. Not because of his great scoring, which is why he's usually on here, but to see how he responds to the athletic D of Josh Smith, who should challenge KD's infamous length.
God of Thunder's Pick: Hawks 103 Thunder 100
