Back from my Sabbatical/Buffalo/Lakers

Sorry about the lack of updates around here, but I really needed a few days off. I didn't go to school, and I hardly felt like writing about the Thunder at all. Reguardless, I'm back now, and better than ever.

My Lakers Pre-Game Thoughts can be seen over at our fellow Bloguin Blog, With Malice. It's full of typos because I had to type it up in a very short 15 minutes.

In other news, via the Morning Animals, the Thunder mascot is rumoured to be a Buffalo, and will appear during the Hornets return to town on February 16th. To me this is excellent, excellent news. Almost every decision by this organization style-wise has been a complete disaster, but hopefully they won't botch this buffalo thing. It would have been cool if that was our team name, but bygones are bygones, and I really want a cute stuffed animal buffalo to put next to my stuffed Thunder (old Warriors mascot) doll.

In other other news, we finally have something to cheer for on All-Star Saturday, as Kevin Durant will participate in G-E-I-C-O. Honestly, I wish they could have had Rasheed Wallace or the ghost of Pistol Pete Maravich, but I'm sure that Durant, Mayo, and Johnson will have something cooked up. We'll have a full-blown preview of the All-Star Festivities, along with our predictions on Friday.

Sheesh... I thought I edited the typos out!

G'luck in the game... but not too much luck!
